Our Priorities

Dear Fellow Apopka Voter,

 My love for Apopka goes very deep. I grew up here, graduated from Apopka High School, and started my own business here. I am a “Blue Darter” through and through! My children also attend Apopka’s public schools. My children and yours are my motivation for running.

 My professional background includes both public and private sector experience. Before starting my own business, I worked for the U.S. Department of Defense and Florida DCF. My private sector experience includes my real estate brokerage company as well as a Jeremiah’s Italian Ice franchise in southwest Florida. Having both public and private sector experience is why I believe I would be the most effective City Commissioner for Seat 3.

As your next Apopka City Commissioner, I will endeavor to serve our residents, offer a more collaborative attitude, and restore civility to the Commission. Sadly, there is a very vocal minority, primarily online, who are tearing our community apart.

With your support and vote, my priorities include:

• Protecting Apopka’s small-town charm with “smart growth practices.”

• Diversifying our local economy and bringing more restaurants and shopping into downtown. We need a “live local, shop local” community.

• Safe streets, schools, and neighborhoods with properly funded police and fire.

• Fiscally responsible budgeting and low taxes

• Strong youth sports programs and vibrant parks

• A return of civility and respect to the commission.
